Right before Thanksgiving, we launched a new look for Meringue Bake Shop online. We got rid of the heavy pink and blue look and have opted for something more natural. Happy Halloween! This year I made Monster Cookies for all my coworkers. I love these cookies on their own but I spookified them by using Fall M&Ms, chocolate and orange chips from Nestle, a handful of sprinkle confetti and a handful of halloween themed sprinkles. And I topped each one with one eyeball. Ooooooooo spooky!

Lauren, of A Fabulous Fete, was going on vacation and asked if I would do a guest post for her. I happily obliged and put together this Coconut Custard Pie that forms it’s own crust. Hallelujah! I have an ongoing rival with pie crust. So when I heard there was a pie out there that would form it’s own crust, I got to recipe testing and tweaking to come up with the one I shared over on A Fabulous Fete.

I’ve pinned this Pumpkin Peekaboo cake from She Knows back in November and intended on making it for Thanksgiving and then for Christmas and yea, it never happened. I was trying to think of a neat treat for St. Patrick’s Day and the peekaboo cake sprang to mind. So here is my version of the cake all greened up for St. Pat’s Day.
